National Service Scheme (NSS)

  1. Organic Farming Awareness Programme (Organized in Collaboration with NSS Cell, IIHS, Dated:05/02/2025)
  2. Cleanliness Drive at Jyotisar Temple, Kurukshetra, Dated: 7th March 2025-On 3rd March 2025, NSS volunteers carried out a cleanliness drive at the Jyotisar Temple, Kurukshetra
  3. NSS Special 7-Day Camp From 20th March to 26th March 2025 at Village Mirzapur, Kurukshetra- A seven days NSS special camp was organized at Mirzapur village under the theme "Service, Leadership, and a Step Towards Self-Reliance"
  • Day 1: Yoga, Service, and Formal Inauguration and lecture by Late Somveer Jakhar ji on the potential of "Yuva Shakti" and Atmanirbhar Bharat.
  • Day 2: Cultural Heritage and Personal Growth and a Prof. Jasbir on the importance of balancing education, sports, and cultural participation.
  • Day 3: Sports Day and Discipline and a lecture delivered by Prof. Deepak Rai Bubber on Goal Setting and Success and masterly planning.
  • Day 4: Shaheed Diwas and Cultuiral Programme and a lecture was delivered by Prof. Jaswinder Singh- A tribute was paid to legendary martyr Shri Bhagat Singh ji, Rajguru ji, and Sukhdev ji. Poetry and Speech competitions were held to honor their sacrifice.
  • Day 5: Creative Expression and Social Media and a lecture was delivered by Dr. Neeraj Batish the concept of individual excellence.2nd lecture was delivered by S.P. Kaushik air pollution, public health, and the Double-Edged Sword of Social Media.
  • Day 6: Self-Management and Leadership-The session involved interactions with military personnel including Subedar Jugraj, BHM Baljinder, and Havaldar Dinesh, who shared stories of bravery and discipline.A lecture was also delivered by Tejpal on Self-Management. emotional intelligence and the importance of Inner Engineering.
  • Day 7: Media Dialogue and Closing ceremony and a lecture was delivered by Shree Raj Rani & Shreeman Pradeep on the Media-Society Interface . NSS POs thanked and appreciate the volunteers for their hard work over the week.
  1. Rally Honouring the Indian Army dated 14 May 2025 at Kurukshetra University Campus, Kurukshetra.
  2. National Integration Camp: organized by Gujarat Vidyapeeth, Gujarat (from 06/06/2025 to 12/06/2025)-The National Integration Camp (NIC) is a prestigious programme of the National Service Scheme aimed at promoting national unity, cultural exchange, leadership, and mutual understanding among students from different states of India.
  3. International Yoga Day (21 June 2025)- The International Yoga Day was celebrated on 21st June 2025 at Brahmasarovar, Kurukshetra with great enthusiasm and large-scale participation.
  4. Induction Programme on 18/09/2025-In the new academic session, an orientation programme was organized to introduce the National Service Scheme (NSS) to the newly admitted students of the Institute of Integrated & Honours Studies (IIHS), Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra.
  5. Annual Day Celebration of NSS-24TH September 2025 (R.K.Sadan)-The Annual Celebration of the National Service Scheme (NSS) was organized by Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra on 24th September at RK Sadan of the university campus.
  6. Participation of Vollunteers in National Integration Camp (NIC) at CCSHAU Hisar: October 2025- The event brought together volunteers from 17 states and Union Territories to promote unity, cultural exchange, and personal development.
  7. One-Day NSS Camp at IIHS dated: 29 october2025-A one-day National Service Scheme (NSS) camp was successfully organized at the Institute of Integrated & Honours Studies (IIHS), Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra on 29th October 2025.
  8. Diya and Sweets Donation Drive on the Occasion of Diwali Festival at Brahmasarovar, Kurukshetra on October 17th:All the four NSS units of the Institute of Integrated and Honors Studies (IIHS), Kurukshetra University, celebrated Diwali in a truly meaningful way — by lighting up lives through a heartfelt Donation and Diya Distribution Drive at the sacred Brahmasarovar.

Unity March on National Unity Day on 31st October 2025- The National Service Scheme (NSS) Cell, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra organized a Unity March on the occasion of National Unity Day, commemorating the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the architect of India’s national integration.
  10. 10thInternational Gita Conference (24–26 November 2025)Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra-An International Gita Conference was successfully organized in Kurukshetra at University auditorium from 24th to 26th November 2025, celebrating the timeless teachings and global relevance of the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita.
